Gastronomy on Monte Tamaro: the Restaurant Alpe Foppa and the Snack Bar Parco Avventura

The Restaurant Alpe Foppa is the starting point of fabulous excursions in the foothills of the Alps and the centre of gastronomy on Monte Tamaro. Built in 1972 by the renowned architect B. Brivio, it has been renovated respecting the environment in 2020 to meet the needs of customers.

The self-service restaurant, located at 1,530 m a.s.l, offers seating both inside and on the large outdoor terrace, houses a shop and a kiosk and is in the proximity of a playground. Our gastronomic offer proposes a typical Ticino cuisine with a particular regard for the products of the region. This is also reflected in the delicious banquets or tasty aperitifs for up to 250 people prepared with passion by our team. The Alpe Foppa Restaurant also has two well-equipped seminar rooms.

The Snack Bar of the Adventure Park at the middle station of the cable car offers another refreshment option, ideal for a break on the way to or from Alpe Foppa or to enjoy an ice cream after your exploit in the Adventure Park.
