All-terrain electric wheelchair
The Alpe Foppa becomes more accessible!
We are delighted to present the JST Multidrive, an electric wheelchair for dirt tracks. From this season on, thanks to the collaboration with the Cerebral Foundation, it is possible to rent a wheelchair for off-road use that allows greater mobility around Restaurant Alpe Foppa. You can drive the wheelchair yourself, but it is also possible for it to be steered by someone else. The maximum weight to use the wheelchair is 100kg.
Rental
You can book the JST Multidrive by writing to info@montetamaro.ch stating your first and last name, phone number, date of booking, arrival time and whether you wish to book the chair for half or full day.
Rental costs
Half day CHF 10.00
Full day CHF 15.00
Payment for the hire is made on the day of rental at the cash desk of the departure station of the cable car. The wheelchair will be handed over to you at the arrival station at Alpe Foppa.
Important Information
Thanks to the new cable car, opened in 2025 and barrier-free, it is possible to travel with the own wheelchair (including electric wheelchairs). The only size to consider is the maximum width of 82 cm.
