Specialist Cableway Technician 80–100%

To strengthen our technical team, Monte Tamaro SA is seeking a Specialist Cableway Technician.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in the cableway sector, who is motivated to take on a role of responsibility and to work closely with the technical management team to ensure the safety, reliability and efficiency of our cableways.

Applications from candidates with a background in other sectors will only be considered if accompanied by particularly significant technical experience in a related field.
 

Main duties

• Operating the installations as a machine operator.
• Preventative, scheduled and ad hoc maintenance of the installations and infrastructure.
• Servicing, checks, inspections, maintenance work, fault-finding and repairs.
• Collaborating in the planning of activities and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the installations.
• Providing customer support and working alongside the operations team during public service hours.
   

Required profile

• Federal Certificate of Competence (AFC), or equivalent qualification, in mechanics, electromechanics or electrical engineering.
• Several years’ experience in the ropeway sector.
• Solid skills in mechanical and electromechanical maintenance, periodic inspections and fault-finding.
• Ability to work independently, take on responsibility and make decisions.
• Accuracy, reliability and a strong focus on safety.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for teamwork.

Technician – Cableway Systems 80–100%

To strengthen our technical team, Monte Tamaro SA is looking for a young person to fill the role of Cableway Systems Technician.

We are looking for a young person with a sound technical background, who is keen to take on new challenges, eager to learn and to develop professionally within our company. Specific experience in the cableway sector is not required: we will be keen to consider applications from related fields, such as mechanics, electromechanics, electrical engineering, automation or industrial maintenance.

The successful candidate will be supported by experienced colleagues and will undertake a training programme designed to equip them with the skills needed to work independently and, over time, take on roles of increasing responsibility within the technical department.
 

Main duties

• Assisting with the operation of the systems as an operator, following an appropriate period of training.
• Taking part in preventive, scheduled and ad hoc maintenance of plant and infrastructure.
• Assisting with overhauls, checks, inspections, fault-finding and repair work.
• Working with the technical team to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.
• Providing customer support and working with the operations team during public service hours.
   

Required profile

• Federal Certificate of Competence (AFC), or equivalent qualification, in mechanics, electromechanics, electrical engineering, automation or a related technical discipline.
• Good technical knowledge, including experience gained in sectors other than the cableway industry.
• A strong motivation to learn, develop professionally and invest in a long-term training programme.
• An interest in technical maintenance and the operation of complex systems.
• Accuracy, reliability, a sense of responsibility and a focus on safety.
• Team spirit, flexibility and good organisational skills.
