Winter trail: «Alpe Foppa path»

The Alpe Foppa path is a 3.1 km circular winter trail. It is groomed so it can be walked comfortably in about 1 to 1.5 hours, with no snowshoes needed.

With just 170 m of ascent and descent, it rewards you with spectacular views over the Sopraceneri and the Alps. The snow-covered trail starts with a bright, sunny section, then leads into a fascinating shaded area where powder snow can last all winter long. It's a true Alpine setting, just a few minutes from the towns and villages of the region.
