This medium-difficulty route is 2.3 km long and takes around 2 hours. After a 400 m climb, it reaches the Alpe Foppa Restaurant at 1,530 m a.s.l..

The scenery is varied and captivating. The route first winds through an atmospheric beech forest, then opens up above the tree line onto the typical pre-Alpine landscape of the region. Steeper stretches alternate with flatter, more even sections.

We recommend tackling the route uphill in the late morning, from Pian di Mora (intermediate station of the cable car) to Alpe Foppa (mountain station). Simply buy a return ticket and let the ticket office or station staff know you'd like to get off at the intermediate station. If you'd rather do the route downhill, you can request a ride back down by cable car using the intercom at the intermediate station.
