This circular itinerary of almost 50 km, which can be completed in just over 5 hours, lets you explore every corner of the area. Starting from Alpe Foppa, the trail passes through Bassa di Indemini, then descending along the villages of Arosio and Cademario. After reaching the lakeshore between Magliaso and Agno, you easily return by going back up through the valley floor via Taverne up to the Valley station of the cable car in Rivera.

Main stops: Alpe Foppa (mountain station of the cable car) –  Capanna Tamaro – Bassa d’ Indemini – Alpe Canigiolo – La Bassa – Alpe di Torricella – Arosio – Cademario – Magliaso – Agno – Taverne – Rivera (valley station of the cable car)
