From Alpe Foppa, a steep dirt ascent (330 meters of total climb) leads to Capanna Tamaro, from which you can enjoy a splendid view. This is followed by a demanding technical single trail towards Bassa di Indemini. Entering the woods of Valle Cusello, the route becomes smooth and fast-flowing up to Arosio. A fun flow trail then descends to Bedano, with a few short sections where pushing your bike is necessary. The return to Rivera winds through the valley floor, gently climbing back up through the picturesque historic centers of Torricella, Mezzovico, and Soresina up to the Valley station of the cable car.
