Cable car prices

Children from the age of 6 up to their 16th birthday, Adults from the age of 16, children under 6 travel free of charge
The cable car ticket for dogs (middle-sized, large-sized) costs CHF 7.00.
 

Information for wheelchairs

With the Monte Tamaro cabins we can transport wheelchairs if their width does not exceed 82 cm. Announcement required for groups.

Schools and groups

Bike transport information

Our cabins can accommodate bicycles (both electric and non-electric).

Annual pass for the cable car

From the 1 January 2026 an annual pass for the cable car is available. The year ticket is personal and costs CHF 385.00 (adults 16+ years).

SBB Travelcards

All holders of a Half Fare Travelcard  or GA Travelcard SBB can benefit from a 50% discount on the cable car ticket. Holders of an SBB Junior Travelcard travel free of charge.

Arcobaleno Pass

All holders of a monthly Arcobaleno Pass  are entitled to a 10% discount, whilst holders of an annual Arcobaleno Pass receive a 20% discount on cable car journeys

Ticino Ticket and Vivi il tuo Ticino

All holders of the Ticino Ticket and Vivi il tuo Ticino can enjoy a 20% discount on the cable car journey

Railaway offers

Railaway offers make it possible to combine a Monte Tamaro, Tamaro – Lema or even the Tamaro Package ticket with the train fare, thus benefiting from favourable prices.
