The kitchen and the Chef

The Restaurant Alpe Foppa is specialised in traditional cuisine from Ticino. Specialities include dishes such as polenta nostrana with two cheeses, braised beef or Ticino luganighetta. The use of local and regional products is the focus of all dishes on offer.

Since 2018, the Executive Chef of the Alpe Foppa Restaurant is Roberto D’Angelo, specialised in Mediterranean cuisine and spoon desserts. Those who have already had the pleasure of tasting one of his delicious dishes confirm that he is also a specialist in traditional Ticino cuisine. Every day Chef Roberto and his team offer a different delicious dish of the day, such as polenta and braised beef, crespelle alla montanara or chicken al cestello. The dish of the day on Wednesdays at Ristorante Alpe Foppa is vegetarian, while on Fridays you will find fish as the menu of the day.
